Morningstar Dog Training is pleased to announce Dogskills - new, intimate, evening group classes, held at The Dog Resort, 12195-1 Metro Parkway, Ft Myers.
All classes are five sessions, once a week for 5 weeks. Enrollment is a minimum of 3 dogs and a maximum of 6 dogs to ensure personal one-on-one attention for each participant.
Highly motivational techniques along with clicker training will give your dog incentive to learn quickly and enjoy responding again and again.

A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU - Meet 'n' Greet Manners
This class is designed to teach your dog to be calm and polite when greeting people on the street and in your home at your own front door. Whether overly reactive or nervous and unsure, help your dog learn to focus onto you for direction and guidance.
- Solve jumping up, lunging, barking, bolting out the door, shyness and fear.
- Learn stop, sit, stay, and focus for successful greetings.
STREET SMARTS - Control in Public and At Home
This class focuses on two essential skills:
- On Target - Heeling Without the Hassle: Achieve calm, controlled, enjoyable walks with your dog. Eliminate lunging, pulling or barking. Discover "power steering" on a loose leash.
- Come 'n' Get It - The Total Recall: Teach your dog to run to you enthusiastically, every time you call. Learn how to handle distractions and gain focus. Learn how to achieve an automatic sit and stay right at your feet.
Clicker training is used. Don't worry, it's fun and easy to learn, and your dog will love you for it! Call for next available class offering.
